Mr. Lyle Everett Wassell Jr, age 64 of Lewisburg, passed away Monday morning, December 3, 2007 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Lyle Wassell Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Weatherly of Medford,OR , Wife: Donnetta Crawford Wassell of Lewisburg, Daughter: Alina May Joseph Adinolf of Arcadia,CA. One son: Wayne Anthony Wassell of San Dimas,CA. One brother: Tim Jan Wassell of Nashville and one sister Gale Rick Vezie of Portland,OR.Also surviving are two Step children: Tracey Crawford and Troy AliciaCrawford. Six grandchildren;Tyler Adinolf, Kendall Adinolf, Robert Medina, David Medina, Brian and David . One step grandchild: Kaylie Grace Crawford. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Wassell was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy that served two terms for our country in Vietnam. He was a service technician for Ikon and Xerox Corporation and member of the Bethbirei Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services for Mr. Wassell will be conducted on Thursday December 6,2007 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Reverend Claude McMillion officiating.
Burial to follow in Bethbirei Cemetery with full military honors.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday, December 6, from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be provided by the United States Navy Military Reserve.
