Lula Clifford

Lula Tee Clifford, age 70 of Lewisburg, died Thursday afternoon in Marshall Medical Center.

Born in Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Amon and Ruth Victory Griffin. She was active in the Ladies Auxiliary, joining in 1967. Mrs. Clifford retired from Moon Pencil Company with 38 years of service.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Billy Clifford of Lewisburg; 2 sisters: Sara Griffin Pickett Layton of Lewisburg, and Carrel Griffin Farler of Belfast; and 1 brother: Roy Griffin of Tullahoma. 3 brothers preceded her in death: William Thomas Bill Griffin, Gilbert Lee Griffin, and Bobby Gene Griffin.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial in Sunset Park Cemetery, Garden of Hope.

The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 PM Friday for visitation, and Saturday until the funeral hour.
