Lorene Walton

Mrs. Lorene Walton, age 82 of, Lewisburg, passed away Monday, February 09, 2009 at Marshall Medical Center. Mrs. Walton was a native of Williamson County, the daughter of the late William Sherman Hinson and Mary Beth Hartley and the wife of the late John Vernon Walton. She was retired from Genesco with 33 years of service and a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Walton is survived by one daughter Mary Ann Gary North of Lewisburg, one granddaughter Tammie Hornback, two great-grandsons John Bradford Hornback and Alex Hornback and a great-granddaughter Chelsea Hornback all of Lewisburg. Also surviving is a half-sister Alta Aldridge of Williamson County, three nieces Geneva Stegall, Mary Etta London, Edna Louise Clark, two nephews Charles Wayne Henson, William Randall Henson, great nephew Christopher Henson and two great nieces Mary Beth Henson and Paralee Brown. Funeral services for Mrs. Walton will be Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Eddie Warren and Father Bill Kelley officiating with burial at Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday after 12 p.m. Pallbearers are Wayne Henson, Randy Henson, Benny Ray Clark, Randy Clark, Gilbert Lee London, and Christopher Henson. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Stegall and Dave Walton. Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Walton to the Alzheimer's Association, 201 West Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, TN 37388.
