Larry A. Johnsey

Larry A. Johnsey, 78, resident of Lewisburg, died on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center. A Funeral Service for Mr. Johnsey will be conducted on Thursday, June 24th at 11 AM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Brother Danny Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Short Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, June 23rd from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. A Lewisburg native, he was born on July 14, 1942, to the late Henry Allen Johnsey and the late Ruby Lee Mayes Johnsey. He was retired employee of Inter City Products. Larry enjoyed woodworking and was known for his Halloween antics. He was married his beloved wife, Becky Sharp Johnsey, for fifty-eight years. Survivors include his wife, Becky Johnsey; sons, Allen (Julie) Johnsey; daughter, Vickie (Tim) Harber; sister, Debbie Andrews; and grandson, Austin (Allison) Harber. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Wayne Johnsey. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
