Kathy Murrell

Mrs. Kathy Ann Denton Murrell, age 48 of Lewisburg, died Saturday afternoon at the residence of her mother.

Born in Bethesda, Maryland, Kathy was raised in Lewisburg. She was the daughter of the late Ronald Denton and Mrs. Bernetta Stevens Watson of Lewisburg. She was a dog groomer at Happy Tails for 13 years and a member of the church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband: Michael Murrell; mother & step-father: Bernetta & Jim Watson; sister: Kimberly Gillum, all of Lewisburg; 2 brothers: Cayce Denton of Panama City Beach, FL, and Curtis Denton of Lewisburg; 2 step-brothers: Richard Watson of Murfreesboro and James Watson of Smyrna; mother-in-law & father-in-law: Margaret & Roy Murrell of Lewisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home by Bro. Clay Derryberry. Burial will follow in Sunset Park Cemetery, Garden of Faith.

Pallbearers are Bobby Cummins, Mitchell Coker, David Sanders, Bill McCullough, David Keener, and David White.
