Josie Talley

Mrs. Josie Lou Poarch Talley, age 72, of Lewisburg passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in Maury Regional Medical Center.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late, Lillie Ball Poarch And Golie Poarch. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Her parents, a son, Donald Holder, and other brothers and sisters precede her death.
Survivors include her loving husband of 18 years, Murray J. Talley of Lewisburg, two sons, Tim Holder and Terry Holder both of Lewisburg, one daughter, Patsy Holder of Cornersville, two step- daughters, Julie Ann Johnsey of Lewisburg and Joy Kathleen Walls of Belfast. Two sisters, Sue Barnes of Lewisburg and Alice Newton of Beech Hill. Two brothers, Thomas E. Poarch and Ned Poarch both of Belfast. Five step grandchildren, Timmy Hargrove, Michael Hargrove, Lisa Graves, Jon Walls, Brandi Nicole Walls and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Talley will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. and on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Alan Johnsey, Terry Pollock, Bobby Wiser, Shannon Walls, Stanley Harwell, and Billy Wayne Vestal.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Bradford, Mike Ivey Johnson, Don Wright, Sam Shelton and Mike Kenny.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, The Humane Society or the Goodwill Organization.
