John Floyd

Mr. John Thomas Floyd, Age 63, of Chamblee, Georgia passed away On August 20, 2008 at his residence in Georgia.
He was the son of Ruth Reese Floyd and the late James F. Floyd. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a Graduate of Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. He retired as an independent contractor for Delta Air Lines and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chamblee, GA

Mr. Floyd is preceded in death by his father; James F. Floyd.

Survivors include his mother: Mrs. Ruth Reese Floyd of Lewisburg, TN and two cousins, Richard Howard of Delaware and Gordon Reese of Maryland.

Funeral Services for Mr. Floyd will be conducted on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Rev. James Hickey officiating, burial will follow in Allen Cemetery in the Caney Springs Community.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM.until the service time.
