Joe Doggett

Mr. Joe Newt Doggett, age 87, of Lewisburg, passed away on September 11, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late, Sally Lou McGaugh and Buford Lee Doggett. He was retired from Inter City Products and was a member of the Columbia HAM radio club, served as president of The CB club, and was a member of the Volunteer Auxilary Police.
His parents, a son Roger Joe Doggett and his wife, Peggy Jean Whitworth Doggett precede him in death.
Survivors include one daughter Donna (Richard)Dickson of Lewisburg, three sisters, Mary Frances Harwell, Betty Ruth Ingram and Helen Cobbs. One brother, Glen Doggett. Four grandchildren Pamela Pauley, Angelia Doggett, Tabitha Doggett and Larhea Harber. Two great grandchildren Brittany Pauley and Joshua Pauley. Serveral nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Doggett will be conducted on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.Rick Rolin and Corey Barnett will be officiating.
Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
