Joe Callahan

Mr. Joe Mac Callahan, age 73 of Lewisburg passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at NHC- Oakwood following an extended illness.
A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late Lillie Mai Harwell and Marvin B. Callahan. He worked as a self-employed construction worker.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two ex-wives Kay Callahan and Rozella Callahan, two sons Daniel Joseph Callahan, Rickey Joel Callahan and two grandchildren Matthew Thomas Lentz and Madison Nicole Lentz.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Callahan Chuck Lentz of Shelbyville, TN, Tisa Callahan Doug Chadwell of Gallatin, TN. Also surviving are four brothers Marvin Callahan Jr. of Murfreesboro, James R. Sharon Callahan of Cornersville, TN, Jimmy Ruby Callahan and Billy Patricia Callahan both of Lewisburg, three sisters Margaret Callahan Glenn Haynes of Chapel Hill, TN, Sandra Callahan Larry Barcheers and Maxine Callahan Luna both of Lewisburg, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Callahan will be conducted on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Roy Holman officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
