Joanna Mae Adair Sears, 76, resident of Lewisburg, died on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at NHC Columbia.
Born on January 26, 1944 in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late John F. Adair and Hazel Smithson Adair. She was a retired Graphic Artist with HK Graphics. Joanna enjoyed socializing with friends, dancing, and traveling, including a trip to Europe. Above all, she deeply loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, John (Julie) Sears of Hampstead, New Hampshire; daughter, Lorie Warnock of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers, Ralph (Betty) Adair of Mooresville, John Gordon “Bud” (Ann) Adair of Lewisburg, Freddie (Kathy) Adair of Lewisburg; sisters, Ann Edde of Old Hickory, Mary Thompson of Farmington, Connie (Ernie) Callahan of Cornersville; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, James Adair, Charles Adair; sister, Teresa Watkins; and grandchild, Mitch Warnock.
Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be held at a later time.
