Jimmy Davis

We regret to announce the passing of Jimmy "Boc" Lee Davis, who left this world on May 7, 2024. Boc was born to Riley Scott and Anna Lou Chilton Davis, on March 4, 1955, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, where he spent his life. He is preceded in death by his wife, Christy Davis, parents, brother, Buck Davis and sister, Juanita Davis He is survived by his daughter, Denise (Dathan) Drake; brothers Ronnie Davis and Pete Davis; grandchildren, Kevin Davis, Jeff Davis, Chelsey Brown and Courtney Mayes; great grandchild Shyla Mayes; and his best friend Jerry Wayne He was known for his appreciation for the simple things in life. As a private and independent man, Boc found joy in the quiet moments and treasured his time spent riding back roads. A dedicated plant manager at Marco Wire, he was committed to his work and valued his relationships with colleagues and friends. A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Rest in peace, dear Boc. Your presence will be greatly missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
