Jeffrey Thompson, age 50 of Nolensville, died Saturday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A native of Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Joseph Russell Thompson and Barbara Rook Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin sister: Terry Lee Thompson, and his step-mother: Ruth Thompson. He is survived by his wife: Joyce Pullen Thompson and a son: Joseph Rook Thompson. A brother: Jim Thompson of Columbia also survives.
Jeff was a Rhodes graduate and member of the Grace Baptist Church in Hinesville, GA.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Leslie Glover. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday for visitation.
Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in Jeff's memory.
