Mr. Jason Michael Burks Medel, age 24, of Lewisburg passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010.
A native of Michigan, he was the son of Michael Medel of Michigan and Tammy Cole Underwood of Lewisburg He was employed as a construction worker with Scene One Construction.
One brother, Joey Burks, precedes him in death
Survivors include his parents, step father, Dene Underwood of Lewisburg, one daughter, Leah Jean Medel of Iowa, two brothers, Jacob Peter and Joshua Peter of Lewisburg, one step- sister, Kersten Underwood, one step brother Joshua Underwood of Lewisburg, Grandparents, Betty and Joe Spry of Lewisburg, aunt, Tina Williamson of West Virginia, one uncle Ray Cole of Lewisburg, cousins, Krystal Cole, Beth Williamson and Christopher Williamson all of West Virginia, along with a host of friends and family also survive.
Funeral services for Jason will be conducted on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Steven Pate officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
