Mr. Shook died Wednesday morning in Maury Regional Hospital, Columbia, TN.
Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Florence, AL where he was raised. He served his country in WWII in the United States Army, First Cavalry Division, and in the U S Air Force following the war. He retired from the Lewisburg Fire Department, and spent some of his retirement years as a deliveryman for H&S Pharmacies in Lewisburg. He began his working career with Marhsall Stove Foundry, Western Auto, Borden, and Lewisburg Plumbing and Heating. Jack was a member of the East Commerce Baptist Church of Lewisburg, and the VFW Post 5109.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sara E. Shook Lewisburg; and a sister, Ruth Young Toledo, OH.
