Mr. James K. Potts, age 70 of Lewisburg, TN passed away on Saturday, July16th , 2011 at his residence in Lewisburg, TN.
A native of Lawrenceburg, TN he was the son of the late Bessie Mae and William S. Potts. Mr. Potts was retired from Gibbs Bros. Construction Co. in Nashville, TN.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Conita Coe Potts, one son James William (Ramona) Potts , one daughter Kimberly (Jeff) McKnight , one step-daughter Deanna Ferrell all from Lewisburg, TN. Two step-sons Burt Ferrell of Tampa, FL and Mike (Sherrie) Ferrell of Murfreesboro, TN , one sister Joan Dean of Columbia, TN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one nephew, and two nieces.
Funeral services for Mr. Potts will be conducted on Monday, July 18th at 1 P.M. from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Rick Rollin officiating, with burial to follow in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN.
Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, July 17th from 4 pm until 8 pm.
