James Darnell

Biography James E. Darnell, age 68, of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013, in Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. A native of Giles County, Mr. Darnell was the son of the late James Darnell and Elizabeth Collins Darnell. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Sue Darnell. He was retired from Cosmolab. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Darnell of Columbia; two sons, Robert Edward Darnell and a close friend, Connie Rhodes of Columbia and Jamie Lynn (Sandra) Darnell of Cornersville; three sisters, Patricia (Dennis) Ring, Glinda Bryant and a close friend, Larry Baugh, and Sheila Price, all of Lewisburg; one brother, Paul (Debbie) Darnell of Cornersville. Funeral services for Mr. Darnell will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Tom Sumner officiating.
