Imogene “Jean” V. Hoekstra, 90, resident of Lewisburg, died on Friday, January 31, 2020 at her residence.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday, February 16th at 3:00 at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, February 16th from 1:00 PM until service time.
Born on February 3, 1929 in Gurley, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Barnett and the late Annie E. Reed Barnett. Jean loved to sew as a seamstress and arrange flowers.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Carter of Lewisburg; brothers, Johnny Barnett of Gurley, AL, Randall Barnett of Huntsville, AL, Lonnie Barnett of Gurley, AL, Ray Barnett of Lewisburg; granddaughters, Tiffany Carter of Nashville and Jordan Carter of Lewisburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to India Missions c/o Westvue Church of Christ, 1710 Mooresville Hwy, Lewisburg, TN 37091.
Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of cremation arrangements.
