passed away Tuesday, December 09, 2008
Preceded in death by parents John and Lizzie Anderson, brothers: Thomas, Randolph, and Louis Anderson sister: Ruby Baker
He and his wife Geraldine Fox Anderson have operated Fox Grocery in the Bending Chestnut Community for many years. He was a deacon for 34 years and long time member of Craigfield Freewill Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Survived by: wife of 59 years: Geraldine Fox Anderson, Daughters: Jewel Dean Anderson, Gloria and husband Bryan Dodd, son: Morris Anderson, grandson: Daniel and wife Jessica Anderson, great grandchildren: Colton, Alyssa, and Brooke Anderson, Brother: J C and wife Gertrude Anderson, sister: Audrey Baker, special caregiver; Janice Collins.
Pallbearers: Daniel Anderson, Bryan Dodd, David Edwards, Roy Fox, Wayne "Buddie" Anderson, Sam Melton, Don Baker and John Baker

Funeral services for Mr. Anderson will be conducted on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 2:30 PM from the chapel of HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME at 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home starting at 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Greenbrier Cemetery Fund, Alive Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.
