Mrs. Grace Erma Jones, age 91, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday November 15, 2008 at NHC-Lewisburg.
A native of Van Wert , Ohio, Union Township, she was the daughter of Earl Showalter and Olive Ackom Showalter. Mrs. Jones and her husband were farmers and turkey growers. She was a retired teacher of the Ohio Public School System and a graduate of Bowling Green University, and was a member of the Salem Presbyterian Church of Venedocia, Ohio.
In addtion to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Elliott Jones 1993.
She is survived by one daughter ElaineGeorge Siler of Winter Haven, FL, three grand daughters, Bryn Jetson Taylor of Meridian, MS, Angie Bill Owen of Lewisburg, TN, Sherry Siler of Winter Haven, FL, and one special friend, Gretchen Baut of Winter Haven, FL.
Three great grandchildren James Russell Owen of Knoxville, TN, Carlye Marie Owen of Lewisburg, TN, Crosby Jayne Taylor of Meridian, MS.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be private with burial to follow in her home state of Ohio at a later date.There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Salem Presbyterian Church in Vendocia, Ohio, The Salvation Army Christmas Angels, The Good Samaritan Shoe Box Program or the charity of ones choice.
