Fannie Carlene Cheeves

Fannie Carlene Cheeves age 92 of Lewisburg, Tennessee passed away Friday, May 10, 2024. Carlene attended at East Commerce Baptist Church and loved to attend her adult ladies Sunday School Class. She loved her flowers, especially her Mandevilla. Carlene was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to music and loved watching sports, especially NASCAR. She loved her family and being Nanny to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carlene enjoyed her talks with her dear friend Bobby Jean Lowry.

Carlene was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cheeves; parents, Carl Morton, Sr. and Fannie Mae (McKelvey) Morton; son, Jeffery Cheeves; brothers, Claude Morton and Carl Morton, Jr; sisters, Sara Brown and Edna Luna.

Carlene is survived by her children, Jimmy Cheeves (Brenda) and Patsy Cheeves Bowling; grandchildren, Andy Bowling (Carlie), Trent Cheeves (Amber) and Brooke Tobin (Dennis); great grandchildren, Iris, Dylan, Alana Kay, Moira, Lena and Ariel; great great grandson, Jett; nieces and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Bills McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Vassar will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Park and Memorial Gardens.
