Elizabeth Rose Moore

Mrs. Moore died peacefully Sunday afternoon in her Village Manor residence, surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of Frank and Belle Kearney Edwards, a member of St. John Catholic Church, and a registered nurse. After completing her trianing at St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing, she chose family over career, dedicating her life to raising her nine children. She was an example to them as a mother, and a Christian, instilling a faith that continues today. She now joins in their eternal reward her husband: Edgar James Moore, Sr., who preceded her in Feb. 2000.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her nine children, Geraldine Elizabeth Duncan Kansas City, MO, Sister Marie Moore, RSM Paducah, KY, Clara E. Rupp Lewisburg, TN, Margaret Ann Moore Nashville, TN, Virginia A. Gloede Glen Burnie, MD, Rita Catherine Brancheau Toledo, OH, Edgar James Moore, Jr. Lewisburg, TN, Thomas Allen Moore Tiptonville, TN, and William Patrick Moore Knoxville, TN; one brother, Thomas A. Edwards Naples, FL; 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the St. John Catholic Church, 1061 S. Ellington Pkwy, Lewisburg, TN 37091, or the charity of your choice.
