Earline Murphy

Mrs. Earline Elizabeth Murphy, age 86, was born September 14, 1927 in Lincoln County, TN. She departed this life after a short illness on November 13, 2013, at her home in Lewisburg. She was the daughter of the late Roy Melvin Davis and Mary Margaret Davis of Belfast.

She was educated in the Marshall County School System. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a loving, kind woman and loved everyone she came in contact with.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raymond Murphy in 1969 and four brothers, Roy C. Davis, Tully Davis, Burks Davis, and Russell Davis.

She is survived by one daughter, Raymonda (Douglas) Alexander of Belfast; four sons, Ronnie (Brenda) Murphy and Ivan Murphy of Lewisburg, Steve (Joyce) Murphy of Spiro, OK, and Tim (LaDon) Murphy of Smyrna; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters, Juanita (Jarvis) Whitfield of Chattanooga, Audrey (Oscar) Pope of Joliet, IL, Sarah Murphy and Brenda McLean of Belfast, and Geraldine Gibbs of Lewisburg; two brothers, Sherman (Judy) Davis of Palo Alto, CA and Gary (Valerie) Davis of Belfast; one sister-in-law, Helen Davis of Lewisburg and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Murphy will be Monday, November 18, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Belfast. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, November 17, 2013, from 2 PM until 6 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and again Monday starting at 12 noon until the funeral hour.
