Delle Bowden

Mrs. Delle Musgrave Bowden, age 82, died Saturday afternoon at her daughters Mooresville residence.
A native of the Farmington Community of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Frank C, and Vera Wilson Musgrave, and a life-long member of the Farmington Church of Christ. Mrs. Bowden was a cafeteria manager for several years with the Marshall County Schools, and was the manager for the Henry Horton State Park Restaurant for many years. She retired from the State of Tennessee as bookkeeper of the Inn at Horton Park. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Allen Bowden; three sisters: Clara Searcy, Evelyn Massey, and Melba Culberson; and a grandson: Art Bowden.
The requests memorial donations be made to the Hospice of the Highland Rim.
Mrs. Bowden is survived by four children: Rocky Bowden of Lewisburg, Susan McKnight of Mooresville, Will Bowden of Franklin, and Evelyn Levi of Cornersville; a brother: Buddy Musgrave of Lewisburg; two sisters: Marie McGlasson of Shelbyville, and June Orr of Alexandria, KY. 8 grandchildren: Mack McKnight, Jeff McKnight, Angie Barnes, Cary Whitesell, Oni Bowden, Chad Woodward, Mia Pitts, and Christopher Levi; and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 9:00 PM on Monday at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home, and on Tuesday until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home, with burial in the Bowden Family Cemetery.
