Cyrus Hopper

Mr. Cyrus Melton Hopper, age 81, formerly of Lewisburg, died Tuesday in Denton Community Hospital in Denton, TX.
A native of Denton Co, TX, he was the son of the late C W & Zula Champion Hopper and served during World War II in the United States Army as a military policeman. While living in Lewisburg, he was a member of the Westvue Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lorene McKelvey Hopper of Aubrey, TX, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home by Bro. Jason Hart. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka.
The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm Saturday for visitation.
