Mr. Clinton Maxwell Clint Beatty, age 74, died Tuesday evening at his Belfast residence.
He was a native of Marshall County, son of the late Terry Beatty and Martha Webb Beatty Hayes, retired driver for Meadow Gold Dairies, and a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Geraldine Mansell Beatty of Belfast; a daughter: Doreen Elaine Mansell of Belfast; 2 sons: Clinton Patrick Beatty of Belfast and Colin Travis Beatty of Cornersville; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM from the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with members of the Dr. McCullough Mens Class serving as honorary pallbearers. Burial will follow in the Head Springs Cemetery in Belfast.
Active pallbearers are Josh Beatty, Mike Reese, Buddy Willis, Doug Hayes, Steve Reese, Ray Locke, Gene Collins, and James Mansell.
The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 4:00 8:00 PM Thursday for visitation. They will visit from 11:00 AM 2:00 PM on Friday at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 402 2nd Ave N, Lewisburg.
