Mrs. Catherine Glenn, age 98 of Belfast, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at NHC- Lewisburg.

A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late J.C. Tate and Julia Orr Tate. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Willard Earl Glenn, two brothers Paul Tate and Ed Tate, three sisters Bessie Tate Hayes, Tiny Tate Johnston and Julia Tate McDaniel.

She was a longtime member of Belfast Presbyterian Church (formerly Union Presbyterian Church) and a co-owner of J. C. Tate Mdse Store of Belfast.

She is survived by a cousin Sarah Margaret Orr of Belfast, four nieces Elizabeth Hayes McCarty and Mary Ann Shaver both of Knoxville, TN, Annette Hendrix and Julie Morris both of Brentwood, TN, two nephews Joel C. Tate of Flint Hill, VA and Robert T. McDaniel of Nashville, TN.

Graveside services for Mrs. Glenn will be Monday, October 1st, 2012 at Head Springs Cemetery at Belfast at 1:00 P.M. with Steve Thomas officiating. A memorial service for Mrs. Glenn will be Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Belfast Presbyterian Church with visitation to immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Belfast Presbyterian Church Steeple Fund, 2221 Old Belfast Rd., Lewisburg, TN.
