Bobby Ray Wilbanks, 77, resident of Lewisburg, died on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 23rd at 11:00 am at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Shawn Grant and Joel Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Park Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, February 22nd from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born on October 27, 1944 in Hickory, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Roy Wilbanks and Ellene Loudermilk Wilbanks. Bobby was a simple man and enjoyed racing. Mr. Wilbanks was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Regina (Jamie) Gann of Lewisburg; sons, Tim (Lawanda) Wilbanks of Baldwin, GA, Toby (Esther) Wilbanks of Mt Airy, GA; grandchildren, Chris Wilbanks, RJ Wilbanks, Dylan Wilbanks, Aaron Gann, Ryan Gann, Amber Wilbanks, Tyler Wilbanks, Nolen Wilbanks; brothers, Homer Wilbanks of Homer, GA, Ralph Wilbanks of Mt Airy, GA, and Roy Wilbanks of Greenwood, SC.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Todd Wilbanks, and brothers, Winston Wilbanks and Johnny Wilbanks.
