Billy Gipson, Sr
August 15, 1927 — October 18, 2003
Mr. Billy Paul Gipson Sr, age 76 of Lewisburg, died Saturday morning in St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Mr. Gipson was a native of Marshall County, son of the late Claude and Vesta Grace Orr Gipson, retired from Inner-City Products as Director of Industrial Relations, and a member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in the Laws Hill Community.
He is survived by two sons: Billy Paul Gipson Jr and Donald W. Gipson, both of Lewisburg; and two grandsons: Matthew W. Gipson and Billy W. Gipson. He was preceded in death by a brother: James B. Gipson.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home.
