Betty Joyce Neese

Betty Joyce Blackwell Neese, 75, resident of Lewisburg, died on Friday, November 27, 2020 at her residence. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 2nd at 2 PM at Hopper Cemetery with Richard Upton officiating. A Lewisburg native, she was born on July 16, 1945 to the late Allen “Pinkie” Blackwell and the late Frances Adams Potter. She was reared by stepfather, the late John Potter. On June 7, 2003, she married her beloved husband Dennis Neese. They enjoyed seventeen years of marriage together. Betty loved her family deeply. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Neese; sons, Rickey (Tammy) Crutcher and Mark Crutcher both of Lewisburg; stepsons Bennie Neese and Jeremy Neese: stepdaughter Rebecca Neese; brother, Mike Potter of Lewisburg; and three grandchildren, Starr Crutcher, Sunnie Crutcher, and Addison Crutcher; eight step grandchildren. In addition to her parents and stepfather, she is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Crutcher, and sister, Linda Barnes.
