Bessie Harrison

At age 90, Mrs. Harrison died Monday afternoon in NHC-Lewisburg.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Solon and Mattie Lou Martin Rowe, and a member of the Methodist Church. Her spare time activities included crocheting, flower gardening, sewing and cooking. Her love and talent for cooking revealed itself in her career working in the cafeterias of the Marshall County School System.

She is survived by her daughter: Mrs. Jean Derryberry Monteagle, TN; two sons: Robert Wayne Harrison Clarksville, TN and Thomas Denham 'Denny' Harrison Lewisburg, TN; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Bro. Hollis Hunt, long time family friend and pastor, will conduct the graveside services on Wednesday. Family selections of music will be played one hour prior to services at the funeral home by Mrs. Annette Lawrie.

Bearing Mrs. Harrison to her place of rest beside her husband, Thomas B. Harrison, will be Ronald McRady, Donald McRady, Edward Potts, Andy Derryberry, Ray Green, and Phil Sanders.
