Auston Tomlinson

Mr. Auston Henry Tomlinson, age 84 of Lewisburg passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro.
A native of Erin, TN, he was the son of the late Edna Lomax Tomlinson and William Henry Tomlinson.
He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, a dairy farmer in Giles County, a deacon at Antioch Church of Christ, and a former Elder at Campbellsville Church of Christ.
His wife Elva Marie Tomlinson, a brother Garner Tomlinson, precedes Mr. Tomlinson in death three brothers in law Olon, Frank England and Gene Parrish.
Survivors include three children Hal (Rhonda) Tomlinson of Sevierville, TN, Vickie (David) Edwards of Murfreesboro, TN, and Kerry Dale (Kristy) Tomlinson of Columbiana, Alabama, one brother James Clifton Tomlinson of Lebannon, TN, one brother in law Wayne (Bambi) England of Columbia, TN and one sister in law Catherine Parrish of Lewisburg, TN. Eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Tomlinson will be conduct on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sunset Park Cemetery with Military honors.
Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday morning from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM and again from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.
In Lieu of flowers donations are encouraged to Potters Children Home, c/o Antioch Church of Christ, 4415 Old Sowell Mill Pike, Columbia, TN 38401.
