Mrs. Annis McKinney, age 73, of Shelbyville, TN passed away on Friday, September 26, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness.
A native of Ardmore, AL, she was the daughter of Fred Ables and Hazel Smith Ables. She was a housewife and a member of the El Bethel Church of Christ in Shelbyville, TN.
Mrs. McKinney is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Hazel Ables, a son, Don McKinney 2001.two brothers Dewey Ables and Clay Ables, one Sister, Magdalene Lovell.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty one years, Dorris McKinney of Shelbyville, TN, one daughter, Joan Donnie Rader of Shelbyville, one sister, Linda Willoughby of Lewisburg, Nine brothers, Calvin Ables, Curtis Ables, Wade Ables, and Ronnie Ables all of Kentucky, Kenneth Ables, Melvin Ables, Jimmy Ables, Wayne Ables all of Indiana, one grandson, Dathan Rader of Shelbyville, TN and one grand-daughter, Krista Duggin of Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral services for Mrs. McKinney will be conducted on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 1:30 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Donnie Rader and Joe Corley officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
