Amos Bond

April 12, 1921 — February 11, 2008

Mr. Amos Cheatham Bond, age 86 of Lewisburg , passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital.

He was the son of the late Elmo Bond and Ora Cheatham Bond and was a native of Marshall County. He was a retired entrepreneur and a member of the Church Street Church of Christ and a member of the Lewisburg Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years June Bond, two nieces June Farrar of Atlanta, GA and Marcia Farrar of Palm City, FL, one nephew John Farrar of Chattanooga,TN, sister-in-law Marcia G. Farrar of Palm City, FL with two great nieces and two great nephews also surviving.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Joe Corley officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday February 12,2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Bill Derryberry, Wayne Jones, J.B. Anderson, Arnold Lilly, Wayne Ingram and Ronnie Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Lowe, Bill Ezell, Billy Wayne Adams Harold Wiggins, Phil Sanders, Jim Bingham , Jack Higgs, Ed Feagins , C.B. Barnes and Troxler Craig.

Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
