Tony Mckibbon

Tony McKibbon, age 81, passed away at his home in Cornersville, TN on March 19, 2025. He was born in the Mooresville community of Marshall County in August 16, 1943 to his parents, Robert Paul and Vivian Mullins McKibbon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert P. McKibbon Jr., and Douglas R. McKibbon. He is survived by his wife, Carole McKibbon; two sons, Darrell A. McKibbon (Jackie) of Newan, GA. and Tony McKibbon Jr. (Patricia) of Cummings, GA. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Tony and his wife moved back to Tennessee in 1995 after his retirement from Georgia Power, Southern Company, at the age of 55. He and his wife spent 20 years travelling this country in their RV. Tony loved his Tennessee Vols, all sports, fishing and taking care of his yard. He was a member of Mooresville Methodist Church.

Per Tony's wishes, he is to be cremated, and his cremains will be buried at Bryant Cemetery. There will be a Memorial Service held at Mooresville Methodist Church at a later date.
