Mary Evelyn Blackwell

Mary Evelyn Blackwell, age 75 of Lewisburg, died Thursday evening in Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Lincoln County, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Allemai Cowan Smith, a homemaker, member of the First Baptist Church of Lewisburg, and widow of Leslie Blackwell, who preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Ricky and Connie Blackwell; 2 brothers: James and J. W. Smith; grand-daughter and husband: Jessica and Chris Ring; and two great-grand-daughters: Christa and Destinie Ring, all of Lewisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
