Dennis Michael Willoughby

Mr. Dennis Michael Willoughby, 69, resident of Lewisburg, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at his residence. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 29th at 11 AM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Troy Green officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, October 28th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton. Born on August 7, 1951 in Marshall County, he was the son of the late William Edward “Edd” Willoughby and the late Jessie Evelyn Chilton Willoughby. He was an avid Tennessee Titans and Vols football fan. He loved horses and fishing. He attended Petersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Chapman Willoughby of Lewisburg; son, Joel Willoughby of Columbia; daughters, Crystal Smith of Lewisburg, Tyra Harris of Pleasant View; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Willoughby. Active pallbearers include Ben Porterfield, Benjie Porterfield, Joel Willoughby, Jewell Smiley, Rick Dodson, and Michael Willoughby. Honorary pallbearers include Elijah Littlefield, Alexis Willoughby, Alex Littlefield, Carson Willoughby, and Peyton Smith. Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
