David Crosby Sr.

David Crosby Sr passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on July 4, 1953, in Buford, South Carolina to Arland Delwin and Donna Lee Mayo Crosby. He was a member of the Latter-Day Saints.

As a planner by profession, David had a keen eye for detail and a steadfast commitment to his work. He approached life's challenges with a dry sense of humor, often lightening the mood even in the most serious of circumstances. David loved motorcycles, finding freedom and adventure on the open road. His appreciation for old Westerns reflected his fondness for classic narratives, embodying the values of courage and resilience that resonated deeply with him. David was known for his appreciation of the simple pleasures in life, often enjoying a refreshing Diet Mountain Dew during gatherings.

He is survived by his wife, Chrystal Hennessey Crosby; sons, David Crosby Jr., Archie Crosby, and Dominic Crosby; daughters, Peggy Jean Davis, Tracy Loftis, Mercedes Crosby, Donna Weed, Samantha McLeroy, and Sarah Hennessey; sisters, Miriam Notario, Karen Vijil, and Annette Crosby; grandchildren, Kamryn Garza, Jaxon Garza, Jase Garza, Leeroy Weed, Annabelle Ischy, Cooper Dean, Colter Crosby, Lana Davis, Noah Davis, Jacob Crosby, David Crosby, Bella Robertson, Nathan Loftis, Carl Loftis Jr, and Zachary Loftis; and great grandchild, Chrislee McNight.

The funeral service for David will be Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, prior to the service from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour of 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Sunset Park.
